The DCR has two main GMTI modes: a Wide Area Search (WAS) GMTI mode and a strip SAR GMTI mode. The rapid scan WAS mode is ideal to provide situational awareness for cuing EO/IR sensors. These radar modes also augment the EO/IR sensors, especially in difficult conditions such as in adverse weather or at nite time.
